Observation of Classroom teacher Pre-school

Having had discussion and observed this classroom teacher I learned a great deal.  Working  in the inner city handling students can be a difficult task.  Every student comes to school with a totally different mind set. I've watched this teacher using effective reinforcement strategies with positivity to help the student develop great social emotional skills.  I witness his interaction with parents upon entering the classroom by greeting them and welcoming them to become active in their child educational experience.   One of  his biggest challenges is parental involvement parents just drop their children off without looking at parent board that's located in the classroom.  The parents use multiple excuses and reason why they cant be involved.  Also, the lack of materials in the classroom because of low funding.  This teacher communicate great with his parents, those parents who needed extra support he told them about programs and connected them to the counselor of the school.  Overall I learned some good to stuff that I can use inside of my paper.

I believe that parenting issues is in every school. You have some that cares and some that doesn't which is sad because children loves to see their parents involved and interested in everything that they do.

Thank You for being a loyal educator. It is important to teach children the way they learn. Continue to provide children with meaningful moments throughout the day.
